One cell lower than the rest
A single cell that sits below its neighbours is the most common early sign of a weak cell or a loose connection. This playbook takes about 10 minutes.
Draft
The steps have not yet been checked against the app, and the screenshot will be added after capture.
Before you start
- You need the installer or admin role.
- Know the battery string code. It is always shown in full, for example
00000000E000A0.
1. Open the string
In the sidebar, choose Battery strings data, select the string, then open Cell voltages.
2. Look at the shape over time
- Set the range to the last 24 hours.
- If the cell is low only near the end of discharge, it is most likely losing capacity. Go to step 3.
- If the cell is low all the time and drops further under load, a connection is the more likely cause. Check the busbar and terminal torque on your next visit.
Safety
Do not open the battery enclosure until the string is isolated and you have acknowledged the site safety notice in AWARE.
3. Escalate with evidence
Download the chart data as CSV and attach it to the support ticket, with the string code in full and the time range you looked at.
